Calories intake are a source of energy for performing vital body functions. If you eat fewer calories for an extended period, you will become a week. Fewer intake of calories than required will lead to muscle atrophy, weakness of immunity or maybe a failure of the organ. 

On the other hand, if you will eat more calories, you will become obese. Intake of more calories will increase the chance of heart disease, diabetes, hypertension, or cancer. Balance eating is healthy eating if you are trying to lose weight than you can eat a few healthy foods that are rich in calories and keep you full for longer, which ultimately helps in weight loss.
